Core Travel is for organizations that want automatic, customizable travel insurance for everyone in their group. It fits companies, universities, NGOs, tour operators, and any kind of company that sends participants, staff, students, volunteers, or customers abroad, or that help manage their travel.
Coverage is arranged through sending organizations only. Despite many kind requests from past travelers, it isn't available to individuals.
Core Travel is the simplest way to ensure every traveler has the resources required to handle an emergency while on your program. Make sure that one medical assistance provider who knows your organization is ready to respond to any one of your travelers. Protect your program and your brand reputation, and still let your travelers make the decision about the level of coverage that is right for them.
Once an organization sets up a group policy, they upload their travel program details to the Core Travel Platform, manually or by API. Each traveler can then log in directly to their own Core Travel Profile.
At their Travel Profile, travelers can see the travel insurance arranged for them, get information about their coverage, print their medical ID card, buy upgrades, additions, or extensions, and find claims and contact information.
Providers such as the travel medical assistance company and the claims administrator use the Platform too, so they have up-to-the-minute status on any traveler's coverage and eligibility to offer help immediately.
A basic "core" package is automatic for everyone insured in the group, so any traveler who'd rather not think about insurance doesn't have to. The organization knows essential coverage is in effect for all, while travelers who want more can add it easily.
Upgrades build on the core coverage, are simple to understand, and come in options that travelers can pick and choose. Purchases take just a few minutes on the Platform, and new coverage updates immediately to the Traveler Profile.
